- Well, I thought we were over the house hunt and going to put it off for a few more years. We found another builder that looked intriguing so tonight we will go and look at a few homes for sale. They aren't in the school district we were originally looking at, so I think we'd be looking to build somewhere else... and then could still hold off a little while.
- Unless we get totally blown away tonight. We will see. There is a park right down the street (maybe in the development) complete with playground, basketball courts, etc...
- Hunter doesn't want us to move and not have a pool for the summer.
- Hunter goes both ways on moving... fresh start, new friends are the pros... leaving old friends is the main con. Though- he'll be driving in a year anyway and the magic of facebook would allow him to keep in touch with everyone. Plus- if we were to build, that takes time anyway between selling our house and actually starting the build.
- But- the city we originally wanted to move to has much cheaper taxes... I cannot believe how much taxes are around here.
- The kids are good. Owen is so sweet... If Quinlin says no to something, Owen is quick to swoop in and say yes. even the simplest things like wanting a kiss. "No Mama" says Quinlin and Owen chimes in "Mommy- I'll kiss you". or "No mama, don't sit next to me" and Owen says "Mommy- sit next to me". I think it's hilarious.
- I'm missing $40 from my wallet this morning. Kind of pissed.
- Sean is looking at a motor for his little green fishing boat tonight... hence realizing the $40 is missing. Again, pissed.
- Hunter had a stomach bug last week and missed 2 days of school. so hard in high school to miss time. I hope he catches up and the grades don't fall too far behind.
- Work is busy. I need catch up days...
- On the meal front, I finally decided to start cooking again. Menu items for this week include(d)- chicken enchiladas, meatloaf, chicken Marsala, french dip sandwiches, and shrimp and broccoli pasta.

Tell All Tuesday (a day late)
Since I was so focused on Owen's successful potty training, I missed tell all Tuesday. So-today it will be tell all tuesday Wednesday!
If you listen carefully, you can hear Quinlin's attempt at singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". I love her voice!
- I am so proud of Owen. Last night he went to bed about 9:45 (after stalling). At 10:15, I heard him in bed talking about pee and poop. So- I ran down there expecting to see he had an accident, and he had to go. So- we rushed to the bathroom and he pooped and went right to bed. Yay Owen!
- Woke up dry this morning! Such a champion
- No accidents at all (so far). We are on day 5 of being out of diapers and in underpants only. Woo hoo!
- Sick of all the potty training talk? sorry
- Casey Anthony- OMG... disgusted. Nothing says innocent to me than competing in hot body contests and being out partying when you're daughter is "missing". Stupid young mom. I was 20 when I had Hunter- and would never have been doing any of the things she did if something had happened to him.
- Edwards Pies- amazing. We just discovered them a few months ago (in the freezer section) and cannot get enough of them.. which I think is why I have gained a few pounds.
- I can also admit that a few pounds may have come from the fact that I wait for my children to go to bed before I eat "the good stuff" just so I don't have to share. Is that wrong?
- Because of those pesky 3 pounds, I attempted to start the couch to 5K workout... I ran with my sister in law, Jen, twice... She runs marathons... I can't even run 1/4 mile...
- Hunter's going to work with a golf pro tonight- he's excited! we think his clubs are too big so we'll see if they can fit him properly.
If you listen carefully, you can hear Quinlin's attempt at singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". I love her voice!

Tell All Tuesday
My random rumblings of the day:
- We had a really nice weekend. We celebrated my MIL's birthday Friday night with a cookout at my BIL's. It's always so nice to get the kids together and watch them play. We missed my SIL who was in DC (Hi Jen) but look forward to seeing her this coming weekend.
- Saturday night we went to a really nice dinner at Ken Stewart's Lodge. We had a great time celebrating the birthday of my girlfriends husband and celebrating a night out before their baby boy is born. I cannot wait to hear what they choose for a name. Now I understand why everyone hated not knowing what Quinlin's name was going to be. We went back to their house and I tried to help organize the baby items. So hard to believe my babies were ever so small.
- Sunday we hung around the house all day. I didn't even dress the kids and my parents came over for dinner after bringing Hunter home to us (who was at Cedar Point on Saturday and loved it)
- Hunter started his summer job yesterday and I think it went well. He is babysitting for the kids who live across the street. The mom works from home, so it gives her a chance to get things done, and gives Hunter a little extra spending money. He's to work every day (or as many days as he can) for about 3-4 hours a day.
- He leaves tonight to see his dad for a few days. I told him he had a job now, so needs to make sure he is home for work on Thursday. So independent.
- Sean organized the storage room in the basement on Sunday. I went through a box of old cards and saved a few notes from relatives near and dear to my heart who I don't get to see due to distance. I'm almost jealous of my sister who travels to see everyone. Maybe someday.
- I've been more into the Bachelorette than I thought I would be this time around. I don't really care for Ashley, and didn't think she had the greatest crop of guys, but am liking what I have been seeing so far.
- I'm incredibly addicted to Words With Friends. I'm such a scrabble nerd now. I am horrible but it's fun.
- The babies are good. Quinlin just turned 17 months (yikes). She has started the transition to Toddler 1 at daycare. Yesterday was her first day of going downstairs and spending time with the 18-24 month kids, and also the 25-36 month kids (which included Owen). I was told that Owen was very caring of her on the playground and made sure everyone knew that was his sister and made sure to include him on everything he did. He showed her the slides and climbing toys and helped her do everything. Such a sweet little guy.
- Still waiting for my camera cords to arrive. :(

Tell All Tuesday
- I went to the dentist yesterday and finally, after an almost year long process, have a new tooth from my failed root canal last spring. It's so nice to no longer have a gap (not that you could see it) but to feel complete again. And, as much as I dread the dentist, that was an easy appointment. Everything with the oral surgeon was much worse!
- we had horrible weather last night. Storms and tornado warnings rolled in. The news released several images of funnel clouds in the city right next to mine. It was a little alarming- especially when you have the mentality of "nothing ever happens in my city". We huddled in the basement, well past Quinlin's bedtime until the storms could pass.
- Hunter goes for his 14 year well visit. Is it cheasy to post his stats? haha. I find my poor oldest gets the least blog attention because he doesn't grow and change as fast as the babies, but it will be fun to see how big he is. I'm guessing about 5'2. He's growing like a weed, looking older, sounding older. My neighbor said to him "Hunter- your voice is so low" and he responded "why thank you" in an even lower voice.
- Quinlin has been looking just darling lately in her new summer outfits. I absolutely love dressing her. My little princess baby doll. She wont pose or smile for pictures, but it's better than nothing.
- I would post pics of Owen in his new clothes, but all he wants to wear are no pants, or if he wears pants, he's in a phase where they need to be athletic shorts. He will stubbornly wear his nice cargo shorts, but instantly wants to change into his "basketball" shorts. So funny.
- Is it pathetic that I'm excited for Boston Market tonight? A night off of cooking- woo hoo! Not that I should complain. My poor kids had mac n cheese last night for dinner since we were running behind because of my dental appointment. Maybe tomorrow I'll actually cook them a nice meal (that they will proceed to turn their noses up or throw on the floor).
- Saw two movies last week. Something Borrowed and Bridesmaids. Both were good, but people had overhyped Bridesmaids to me so I was expecting more. Dont get me wrong, I did enjoy...
- This weekend we are seeing Hangover Part II. Here's hoping the lawsuit from the tattoo artist does not delay the release!

Tell All Tuesday (a day late)
A day late but my random thoughts...
- Track season is over. Hunter ran the 400 in 77 seconds so didn't beat the other guy on his team to secure a spot at the conference championships. That's ok though- I was so proud of him for giving it his all.
- He had a choir concert last night but didn't want us to go. So- he went with his buddy Michael and then went to Michael's brothers baseball game afterwards. He got home about 9:30pm. So crazy to see him so independent and off doing his own thing.
- A house in my neighborhood was robbed last night. Kind of scary, but the police think it's an inside job. It was an Indian couple who recently had Indian jewelry out of a safety deposit box, etc. The robbers came in through the windows in the basement, stole the goods, and then tried to flood the house. I couldn't even imagine. We triple locked everything last night but it still made me nervous...
- I came into work this morning and smelled something funny. Turns out there was a small fire in an electrical panel... yikes!
- Speaking of work, I'm sending 5 guys oversees at the end of the week and they sent me flowers as a thank you for all my work. All I did was book their flights and hotel. So sweet of them to think of me.
- The weather is finally warming up. I love it! Cant wait to go home today and play outside with the kids.
- I'm totally addicted to words with friends... I'm such a nerd. :)

Tell All Tuesday
- I made an amazeballs dinner last night and am quite proud of myself. My friend Gia posted this recipe on her blog and I seriously licked my plate when I was finished. I made dinner, cleaned the kitchen and then prepped tonight's dinner of French Dip Sandwiches in the crockpot. Chicken is thawing now for tomorrow so after dinner, I will cut the chicken and prepare it so that tomorrow night will be easy as well. I love when I am organized and have a stocked freezer/pantry!
- Today is Hunter's first track meet of the season. He didnt run at all during spring break and they didnt run yesterday due to the rain, so we'll see how he does. He's running in only one event this season- the mile. I'm hoping to be able to scoot out of work to watch him. Though- with the weather today, it may get cancelled as well.
- I also need to get to Target. Owen desperately wants to see the movie Cars. I taped Ratatouille the other day not knowing it followed Cars on tv. So- the dvr picked up the last minute of Cars while starting to tape Ratatouille. We have watched that last minute 26 times now. I got a Target gift card in the mail through Ebates so I will only have to pay a small amount for the actual movie.
- Have I raved on here how much I love Ebates? So far I have gotten one check for $12.10 and I have pending cash of $15.36 for other online purchases. If I'm going to shop online, I might as well get cash back for it. Sign up now if you haven't!!! Link here!
- Yesterday we had the great poop incident of 2011 for Quinlin. How can someone so small and beautiful produce the craziness that she did yesterday? She didnt get kicked out of daycare like I thought she would, but holy moly!
- Check out the cute dancing machines from the other night at my brother in laws? Quinlin's new thing is to dance and spin in circles... Adorbs!

Tell All Tuesday
- I missed my weekend recap- but we had a nice weekend. Friday night we had a date night and went to Bonefish Grill. The wait was an hour so we sat at the bar and had a drink and an appetizer. we finally sat down and had our dinner and afterwards, instead of going to the bar to watch basketball, we came straight home. Such losers. Saturday I helped my girlfriend register for her baby shower and then we went to lunch. So nice to have some girl time! Sunday Sean went to his parents house to help unclutter and organize in preparation for them to move up back to the area. with his dad's health deteriorating, they need to be closer. i stayed home with the kids and my parents came over. we had a nice dinner- i made Chicken bruschette bake and it turned out great. Quinlin loved it!
- I took the day off of work today to spend the day with hunter. He's still sleeping so I made myself a hair appointment for later this morning. I cannot wait- it has been forever since I got my hair done... now the big question is- long or short? yikes!
- After my hair appointment, I'm going to grab hunter and we're going to the mall for some shopping and lunch and then off to the movies. I'm looking forward to some me and Hunter time.
- watching Teen Mom 2 on reruns this morning- these girls suck.
- We picked out the stone for our bar and our buddy Jimmy came over a few days ago to measure how much we need. I am so excited about it.
- We still have been browsing at homes. Found a ton we like but the timing just isn't right- I need to remove zillow from my Internet browsing capabilities.
- I need to start potty training Owen...this will be a common occurrence in my tell all Tuesdays i think. ugh.

Tell All Tuesday
- We looked at the one house we had been eyeing last night after work. It was awful and disappointing. Had such promise... was a large home, 5 bedrooms, 4500 square feet and due to the fact that it was a short sale, the price was right. We got there and looked through it and although there were some pros (nice hardwood floors, wainscoting, nice outside structure) the cons definitely outweighed everything... no back yard, up on a hill and the back yard sloped down into a ravine, awful layout- a teeny tiny living room with what they considered the great room to be in the basement. weird layout- you had to walk through the laundry room to get to the bathroom, the master was small, the garage was small. So- in the end, this was not a house for us.
- which now leads to us thinking- maybe it's best to stay where we are... our house is nice and only 7 years old. We have already done things to it to not look so cookie cutter- finished the basement, full bath in basement, granite in the kitchen, slate floors, working on the bar- just picked the stone for it. So- with the rearranging of the furniture and placement of trinkets, I do like it much better. Maybe we buy in a few years when financially things are better for us.
- Aside from the house stuff consuming me, things are going well. Hunter went to his grandpa's on Sunday where I get a text message from him showing his front tooth that he had chipped a few years ago had the cap fall off. So- I had to rush him in to the dentist in the middle of the day. I didn't mind- it gave me extra one on one time with him in the afternoon.
- Quinlin was in a horrible mood yesterday- just overly tired when she finally got home from daycare and ate dinner. She cried through her entire bath (so not like her) and couldn't wait to go to bed. I missed my smiley baby...so will share my smiley little girl from the other day:
- The weather here is teasing us.... nice and mid 60's to cold and in the 40's the next day. I'm so ready for spring!
- We are getting on our ebay kick again. I listed a pair of Owen's nike's that he barely wore, a boppy and a pair of new baseball cleats that Hunter never wore. Ebay and I have a love hate relationship. I love the thrill of selling things- but hate having to put the work into it. But- we do need to get rid of so many things around the house. I have a few items on Craigslist now too. Next week I hope to list a few other things that I don't need anymore. Let's hope I can stay motivated!

Tell All Tuesday
- After a rough day at home yesterday, I have learned that Sean will never be a stay at home dad.
- Though it was really cute to see the fun things he was doing during the day with the kids- he took Owen's big Wheel out of the box to play with, they watched movies, they played soccer in the basement- you know, all the normal things you do with sick children.
- I dropped them off at school this morning- hopefully they stay there all day. Neither had a temperature- so hopefully all are back to normal.
- I did a little decorating over the weekend- pics to hopefully follow tomorrow if I can remember to bring my camera.
- I was totally shocked yesterday while reading my Bachelor spoilers....and then watching last night. I don't know how I manage to get sucked in every.single.time.
- Charlie Sheen is crazy- mark my words- tragedy is not far from happening. It makes me think back to the day a few years back when I played in a Fafarazzi league with my FK's. Heath Ledger died, I picked him up and scored tons of points. If I were in a league right now, Sheen would be a great pickup. (It's kind of like Fantasy Football). Any FKs reading this, should we start a league again?
- I watched a new show that I had on my dvr last night- Traffic Light. I believe it's from the producers of the Hangover. I really liked it- looking forward to watching the other two episodes I have taped.

Tell All Tuesday
- Is it really Tuesday? I had a 4 day weekend so have gotten behind in my posting.
- Since it is Tuesday, I missed my weekend recap. where should I begin? On Thursday, Quinlin got diagnosed with croup. On Saturday, we brought her back to the doctor where she then had an ear infection and on Monday, Owen stayed home from daycare with a fever. My four day enjoyable weekend was taken over by sick children.
- Aside from illnesses, I did get a nice girls day where I went shopping with My friend Karen and her daughter Jillian. They were so nice to come over and scope out the rooms I wanted help in and off to decorate we went! We had a nice lunch at Panera and then hit up Pier 1 Imports, Target, TJ Maxx and Bed Bath & Beyond. We bought pillows and curtains to help complete my living room. If I cant replace my couches for a few more years, the goal is to dress them up a bit.
- So- my purchases are sitting in the corner of the living room as I am waiting for Sean to hang the curtain rods...lets see how long that takes to get done. Once it's done, I will be able to see how it all looks put together! I'm excited!
- I do though keep looking at stores on-line for pillows.... does that not mean I'm completely sold? I'm totally sold on the curtains though... just need them up. I really think once it's all in place, I'll know...
- I watched the Bachelor last night... oh my goodness. Chantel's house-holy hugeness...and Ashley's sister- holy tattoos.

Tell All Tuesday
- Quinlin is home sick from school. She got kicked out yesterday at about 2:45 with a temperature of 101.5. So, Sean is home with her today. He was supposed to be off today anyway for his last day on the ice, but instead has a hot date with his daughter. I have already been called with questions and it's only 8:15am.
- I took Owen to school this morning and it reminded me how easy taking care of just one baby is. The drop was so quick and I loved our chatty time in the car. He was eating a breakfast snack and all of a sudden he starts saying "Open" in a high pitch followed by "closed" in a low voice. I realized he was imitating his toy, Potsy, that my sister bought Owen. It was hilarious- Potsy is quite effeminate... but a very cute toy.
- I don't think Sean knows where the kids clothes go in what drawer... how come I am the one to always put them away?
- Still working on my art project... I was supposed to go to NY and England because of it...not sure if that's still the plan. Waiting to hear.
- I made valentine's dinner for us yesterday- BBQ beef and french fries- and it was awful. I think I overcooked it in the crock pot and we were do disappointed. Oh well- I'll scratch that recipe off my list.
- Tonight is taco Tuesday- I cant screw that one up. A household favorite.

Tell All Tuesday
My random thoughts for this Tuesday
- I went shopping this weekend. Totally disappointed in some of my favorite stores... I really need a personal shopper- or I guess someone to tell me what would look cute on because just looking on a hanger makes me have no interest in some of the items out there
- And speaking of shopping... I have no urge to buy cute tank tops and short sleeve shirts when its so cold outside. If there is still snow on the ground, I think they should still be selling sweaters... though- I dont want matronly looking sweaters... Limited was highly disappointing (back to point 1)
- I need to start writing down Owen's funny responses...
- Me- "Owen- why are you coughing?"
- O- "Because I need to"
- I need to travel for work...by myself...to another country. Yikes! But- I've already started plotting my adventure and talking to some peers so should be ok- and not truly alone.
- My girlfriend was complaining about not being able to sleep while her husband was out of town this weekend. Am I a bad wife when I say that I slept great? And- both babies slept in all weekend as well which made my sleep even better.
- I need to get back into the swing of things cooking wise. I didn't have to cook for about 4 or 5 days and then forgot to thaw some food out for yesterdays dinner. Luckily chicken is defrosting as we speak.
- I am so ready for the Super Bowl to be over... no reason my local grocery store is selling Steelers cookie cakes. Blach... root for your home team darnit. Go Browns!
- And to end my post with cute pictures... check out the crazy hair of my two crazies from bathtime...

Tell All Tuesday Jan 4
- Well- it's the second day of the new year- work week and I am home now with a sick Quinlin. I cannot win. I went to the daycare to pick her up- Owen was home yesterday sick from school and thankfully my dad was able to watch him- and there she was getting her temperature taken. I couldn't believe it. I kept thinking- if only I would have picked her up 10 minutes earlier, she wouldn't have been banned from school today (24 hours). But- as a good parent- I will willingly keep her home (what choice do I have) and not infect the other babies. So- I scheduled her with an appointment this morning with her pediatrician. Since Owen's sickness is strep and a sinus infection- better to make sure Quinlin doesn't have anything more serious than a fever. My thought is maybe it's teething? she's getting her 4 upper teeth all at once.
- Sean now is feeling like he may be getting strep. Lovely. I gave him his doctor's office phone number to call right at 8am when they open to try and get an appointment. Thank goodness I had my oral surgery last week and still am on the antibiotics that they gave me for that. I'm thinking I am protected...it's a stronger antibiotic than what Owen was even placed on.
- Thank goodness I have such an understanding boss. I am working from home today and do not need to take a sick day/vacation day. He knew yesterday when I was in that owen was sick and since he has children, he understands that when it hits one, it tends to hit the others.
- I hate Black Monday in the NFL. Brutal industry. Makes me sad.
- Why is it that I can have a house full of toys, but all Quinlin wants to pick up and play with is either a food particle that Owen has dropped or garbage?
- I cannot wait until naptime today so I can watch the Bachelor from last night. I read the spoilers- courtesy of Reality Steve- so I know the outcome, but I still cannot wait to watch. I should probably get some cleaning done today too- we'll see how much I can accomplish with a sick baby girl- who though sick is extremely active and getting into everything.
- My other mission today is to find bedding for Owen's full size bed. I think it's finally time to pull the crib mattress off the floor and give him a real bed to sleep in. I'd like him to pick it out- maybe he'll get more excited about it- though I'm almost afraid to see what he would pick. I think Sean wants to do a sports theme since he is very into sports. I dont want it to look cheesy though. Decisions, decisions....

Weekend Recap/ Tell All Tuesday
Next year, we won't wake Owen for Christmas...
Sean was so excited for Owen to celebrate the first Christmas that he would "understand" Santa Clause...so he may have accidentally woken him too soon. Major backfire... I need to figure out how to post the video from the actual event (I really need to learn how to hook my blackberry to the computer).
To backtrack- and I will add pictures and videos at some point this week, we went to my brother in law's house for Christmas Eve. It was really nice- a dinner of steak, twice baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, zucchini and squash followed by pumpkin rolls for dessert. We stayed until about 7:30 when Quinlin started to Melt down. Sean's dad dressed as Santa Clause and Owen never even made the connection that it was Grandpa in the suit. he came up the stairs and Owen yelled "SANTA!!!" priceless. The kids opened gifts and we came home and went to bed. Hunter said he was so excited that he was up all night. Nice to see that even at almost 14, he still gets excited!
Christmas morning, the kids were downstairs opening presents by about 8am. We took a break for pancakes around 9am and Owen finally finished at about 10am (I think Hunter was done by 8:15). Sean's parents and sister came over at about 1pm. We deep fried a turkey and had a nice Christmas day. Nowhere to go or be rushed- I didnt even put make up on. Sean's family left about 8pm after the babies bathed and that was it!

- I am on vacation this week and am trying to enjoy and savor every minute of it! It is so nice to be able to shower in peace, for as long as I want, and not be interrupted by a certain 2 year old. Sean doesn't understand how that can be such a highlight to my day, but it is. I have been dropping the kids off to daycare in my running pants, pony tails and sweatshirts and rushing home to my quietness. LOVE.
- I had minor oral surgery today. Back in June, I had 4 impacted wisdom teeth pulled plus a 5th tooth for a failed root canal and had a bone graft done to prepare me for my implant. Today was the day of the implant. $3,000 later, I still have a gap in my teeth but the "implant" is in. Now I need to wait 3 months until my dentist (no longer the oral surgeon) puts the crown on. I guess I thought that I would leave there with a new tooth but the process is long.
- We have been having a heck of a time with owen lately and bed time. He is almost in a "seperation anxiety mode" and needing someone to be with him. I do not want to start the habit of having him in bed with us, so we have been laying on his floor to calm him down for the night. He stalls "must say good night Hunter, must say good night daddy, etc". if we leave and he gets angry, he peels off his pajamas and diaper immediately, because he knows we'll come back. After he did this yesterday and peed on the floor, I posted to my facebook looking for help. We're trying the supernanny technique. I used to loved bedtime, my kids went to sleep so easily. Now- I dread it. DREAD.
- Hunter comes home tomorrow. He spent Christmas Day and the following days with his dad. I'm ready for him to come home. I do enjoy though that he has cousins his age and is really enjoying himself, but nice to have my complete family together again!
- On Monday, Sean and I boxed up all of Quinlin's old clothes and went through everything I had left from Owen that he has since outgrown. I am going to attempt to sell some of the items on ebay (sad that I have Ralph Lauren outfits, for example, with tags on them because I was too afraid to use them...what was I thinking?) If I dont sell any, or decide its too much work, those clothes, in addition to two boxes of clothes are going to my nephew that will be here in February, Charlie. Quinlin's clothes- 2 boxes worth- have been boxed for our friends Jimmy and Tanya, who after 3 boys, are finally having a little girl (ironically the duedate is the day after Charlie's duedate). At least I know all the clothes are going to good homes and will get good usage. sad to box things up already. Especially Quinlin's clothes- and even sadder to look at her newborn sleepers and barely remember that she was really that small!

Tell All Tuesday 12/21
- I am home from work sick today. I love my children- I love that they are so giving and want to share- but they can stop sharing their germs with me. Owen's sneezing, coughing, snots, etc have finally caught up to me. Oh how I love daycare.
- Though- such a catch 22- I really do love daycare, aside from all the germiness. We found a great one and the ladies take such good care of my children and they truly are learning so much. But- they are sick- all the time.
- Speaking of daycare, I need to get my daycare providers with holiday gifts. The first year, I bought chocolates. Last year, I did wine. I think we're going with wine again...but I have 8 ladies I need to buy for (and actually I'd like to include one of the floater ladies, Louise, and the cook) but I dont know if I can afford to do 10- holy cow!
- I am laying around my house and need to do something, like cleaning, but have no motivation.
- Sean was out of town for a week and that really sucked so much energy. I am thankful that I took vacation time next week and can enjoy some of winter break with Hunter.
- I had to bribe Hunter with a trip to Subway so i could get him to the barber shop. His hair was pretty raggity (is that a word?)
- I need to start planning Quinlin's birthday party! I wanted to do an evite, but feel the pressure to do actual invitations since I did for Owen's first birthday party. Her party will be much smaller than his. It's winter and we simply dont have the room.
- I should finish wrapping gifts since Owen is at daycare...but I just want to stay in bed. I sound really whiny- it is just a bad cold. I also need to finish buying things but that isn't happening today.
- I tried to watch a DVD from netflix this morning but it kept getting stuck...annoying.
- Sean's cousin Jeff's wife, Karen's, dad passed away. Calling hours are tonight. I hope I'm feeling up to going.

Tell All Tuesday
- I am currently getting paid to wrap gifts at work.... I love my job.
- Though- wrapping the gifts is putting off my big project- not so good. No deadline but obviously something I want to get done.
- Wrapping them here is causing me to not wrap at home. Luckily I still have time. One of my favorite things to do, since I didn't grow up celebrating Christmas, is to sit on the living room floor, next to the tree with the fireplace on wrapping gifts. Though- with Quinlin and Owen- I dont know if I will even use my fireplace this year...and will most likely need to wrap when they are in bed.
- Sean's work may prevent him from going to Wisconsin for an ice fishing tournament... I'm trying to sound sad for him, but dont think I'm very convincing. Though- if he doesn't go, we lose out on the money he has already spent- entry fee, rental house, not to mention his partner than gets screwed.
- Owen has been very funny lately with naptime. The good thing is- we have gotten him to take naps again. The bad thing is, he likes to sleep without his pants on. So far no accidents though while like that...knock on wood.
- I felt the guilt of being a working mom the other day when I was signing the babies into daycare and the lady at the front desk said "I love how Quinlin says uh-oh. It's the cutest thing." I looked at her in amazement..."she says uh-oh????" Yes- she does...and it is very cute.
- I need someone to watch the kids so I can go shopping with Sean... Hunter has some clothes but we still want to buy him a cool winter coat and maybe some games for his PS3. We picked up a cool tool bench for Owen...but need much much more from Santa.
- It has been snowing pretty hard the past few days here... I find the snow absolutely beautiful and love my drive to work. I drive though like a little old lady- especially with the babies in the car. Owen chimes in in the backseat "be very careful mommy". I love it- I'm sure the people behind me wonder what is taking me so long- especially since I drive an SUV.
- I have been stalking my phone like crazy since my friend Gia is in the hospital being induced. I was in the shower last night and I got a text so I asked Sean to look at my phone. He didnt know I spent the day stalking it and said "7 lbs, 13 oz. Raymond James" It was the funniest thing- and no- she is still in labor and Raymond, I dont think, is even on her name list. I had texted back and forth with her prior (maybe about 30 minutes before) so I knew he was kidding. I find it adorable how connected he is to my life and my friends. I am a lucky girl.

Tell All Tuesday 11/30/10
- My items arrived in the mail yesterday from my big Old Navy/Gap purchase. So excited about them- minus the fact that I was excited to order new clothes for me and when they arrived and I tried them on, I was disappointed. I should rephrase- I only bought two things for myself. One I liked- the other- i felt frumpy. That will be returned immediately!
- I love Craigslist. We just put on there our Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo, the deluxe play mat and gym and our bouncer. Last night we sold the jumperoo and the playmat. Just need to sell the bouncer and I can start listing other items. It's nice to get some of the clutter out of our home. We're done having children, so no point in hanging on to them. Nice feeling to get rid of them, but kind of sad with the finality of a chapter closing.
- Owen is talking up a storm- all of a sudden. Full conversations on the phone, full songs in the backseat.... I'm so proud of him. it's so fun to sing and have him sing along- minus the fact that we are constantly singing- "rain rain, go away"- even on sunny days! He also seems to be learning a lot at daycare. I always thought because I am not a stay at home mom that my children would be delayed a bit because I can't work with them. I dont worry about it anymore- he's catching up just fine. He knows certain colors- red, orange, yellow, purple, green, black. We're working on the others. He counts to 12. He sings the abc's... we're getting there!
- Have I mentioned that I'm still working on the art project? yep- it's seriously never-ending.
- The bar is coming along in the basement. Cabinets up, granite and sink ordered. I'm so excited to get this project finished. And- I even got Sean to hang some of our Crate & Barrel artwork that I purchased- last September (as in a year ago).
- I love Pink. I dont know if I have mentioned that one or not in my little tell all tuesday posts, but I seriously love her new song. I start singing obnoxiously (and I'm sure way off-key) whenever it comes on.
- I didnt do a menu for the week. Feeling slightly unmotivated. We did pizza Sunday, tacos Monday and tonight is spaghetti and meatsauce...I guess I'm winging the rest of the week. Maybe lots of chicken dishes since our Sam's club run included stocking up.
- I think I have our holiday cards picked out... I have it narrowed down to five different ones. Just waiting for my code from shutterfly to place my order- and I guess to make a list to make sure I'm ordering exactly how many I need.

Tell All Tuesday
- Owen is sick...again. The poor kid cannot catch a break. Can catch colds, but not a break. Luckily my parents are over watching him for the day. Too bad I didn't live a bit closer to them. I feel bad that they have to drive 45 minutes to help us out of jams.
- Then the question becomes, if Owen can't go to school tomorrow, is it wrong to ask Hunter to watch him for the day? He's home from school anyway for Thanksgiving break and it would maybe only be for 5 hours or so because Sean would get home early... hmmm.
- I got the proofs back of our holiday photos. I love them- no clue how I am going to decide!
- We started shopping for the holidays for Hunter. I'm so excited for him to open some of his gifts! I even managed to buy myself a few sweaters. I was so excited to get a 40% off coupon code for Gap and Old Navy. Total Score!
- I feel bad that I do not plan on buying much for Quinlin. She'll be spoiled by her grandparents and aunts and uncle so I feel like she's too young anyway to really understand.
- I am afraid of puke. When Owen gets sick, I instantly think he's going to throw up and leave the parenting to Sean. I feel like a horrible mom that I am not as comforting... though- when I know he isn't going to throw up- I am the most comforting person for him.

Tell All Tuesday
My random thoughts for the week:
- I cannot wait for election day to be over... I hate all the commercials, phone calls, fliers in the mail. I dont read or listen to any of it. I find that I am not really concerned about political issues, though I guess I should be.
- I hate if people have a question, they dont just come to you...why go to someone else if you have the answer. vent over.
- Why am I the only one who knows how to load, run and empty the dishwasher? frustrating.
- My Fantasy team is getting better... won again this week. Though- it wasnt much of a win since my opponent didnt change out her players who she had on a bye. But- a win is a win, so I will take it.
- Had my cavity filled last night. I really hate going to the dentist. It was just awful... the novocaine started working when I got home... a little too late.
- Hunter needs a new cell phone. His screen broke and now he cant see texts. To the world of a teenager, I think he feels like his life is over until he gets his new phone. He has this phone for almost a year before breaking it... I feel bad, but he's paying for half of his new phone.
- I think Hunter is getting straight A's. I cannot wait for his report card to come out. He worked really hard this quarter and even took a few advanced level courses. It's getting to the point where I can't even help him with his homework as some of it is more advanced for what I know. Thank goodness for calculators!
- My babies are getting big! Hunter is really off in his own little independent world. Owen talks up a storm and is in a total mommy phase and Quinlin just moved to her big girl car seat...more on that tomorrow.

Tell All Tuesday
My random thoughts for the day:
- Quinlin is sick.... I was a bad daycare mom and sent her to school today. She has a barky cough and was pulling on her ear. I gave her motrin and am waiting for her pediatrician's office to call me back to get us in for an appointment. Guilt.
- Annoyed with said pediatrician office. You call to schedule an appointment, yet the scheduler wont talk to you. You are then forced to verify your personal information just to get thrown into a voicemail anyway. I now sit waiting for a call back...it's been 20 minutes so far. Yet- they tell me when I first call that I may not be able to get in. But- they wont schedule you until 8am the day of anyway for sick visits. I could scream.
- Hunter is the slowest movie creature on this planet. I watched him make his lunch this morning... I swear, he was putting lunch meat on his sandwich one in slow motion and two, piece by piece. I dont know how he makes the school bus every day.
- My fantasy team still blows yet managed to muster a win this week. We're now 2-5... I sat Britt on the bench and cost me 40 points...
- The Browns won though- fantastic game played by defense and special teams!
- Pediatrician just called back... appointments for 7pm tonight. relief.
- Super excited for 16 & Pregnant to start tonight. Yet- where will I have the time to watch it?
- frustrating day at work and I have only been here for 40 minutes. Lets hope the day gets better.
